Les adjectifs possessifs mon/ton are used for singular, masculine nouns ma/ta are used for singular, feminine nouns mes/tes are used for plural noun (masculine or feminine) mon, ma, mes (my) ton, ta, tes (your)

11 Exception for Possessive adjectives:
Remember that if a noun is singular and begins with a vowel, you use « mon » or « ton », even if the noun is feminine! i.e. Mon amie (not ma amie) Mon ami Ton amie (not ta amie) Ton ami

12 Les prepositions Le stylo est sous la table. (The pen is under the table.) Le livre est sur le bureau. (The book is on the desk.) Prepositions tell where something is located in relation to something else.

14 « Il y a » means « there are/there is … »

15 Il y a un bureau. Il y a une chaise. Il y a une poubelle. Il y a un téléphone. Il y a des feuilles de papier. Il y a des livres. Remember to use « un » if the noun is masculine, « une » if the noun is feminine, and « des » if the noun is plural.
