Plan : Buckingham Palace Picadilly Circus Trafalgar square ¨Portobello Road Albert Memorial Southbank Big Ben Natural History Museum Royal Albert Hall London Eye Covent Garden PLAN DE LONDRES + peculiar features
Buckingham Palace The Queen lives and works at Buckingham Palace. In this building, there are working offices and the Royal House. It is one of the rare palaces still attached to royal functions. The changing of the guard is worth the glance for its elegance, its character. It's at the same time serious and amusing. Buckingham Palace is very beautiful and I enjoyed the changing of the guard.
Piccadilly Circus Piccadilly Circus is a big place in London with billboards (like Times square, in New York but two times smaller ) and big stores (like Lilly whites, a big sport store, Gap a famous clothes shop... ) At peak hours, this place is overcrowded.
Trafalgar Square, Its a very famous place in London whose name comes from the battle of Trafalgar which opposed the Franco-Spanish to the British in 1805. In the middle of the place, at the top of a column, there is the statue of Admiral Horatio Nelson, who died in the battle of Trafalgar. It is surrounded by four sculptures of lions which are protecting the statue from the officers. In the center, there are two big fountains. When we went there, there was a large Christmas tree with people who were singing Christmas carols, it was funny.
Portobello Road It is a large street in the middle of Nothing Hill from North to South, it is a cool district, with colourful houses, second-hand shops and antics. The district is very nice to visit, but not for shopping!

THE ALBERT MEMORIAL The Albert Memorial is a golden statue. It is situated in the middle of Hyde Park opposite the Royal Albert Hall in West London. It was ordered by Queen Victoria in memory of her husband, Prince Albert who died in 1861. It was unveiled in 1872. Its a beautiful monument. The size is amazing !
SOUTHBANK Southbank is situated next to Big Ben, the famous London clock. This place is a long street where there are people who are transforming into statues of famous personalities such as Charlie Chaplin, the Statue of Liberty, Michael Jackson, Superman, robots but also dancers and funny people. It was great, funny and super cool, it was really awesome !!!!! Unfortunately, when its raining cats and dogs, there are no more statues !!!!!
Big Ben Big Ben is the nickname of the thirty-three and a half tons bell which is in the Clock Tower of Westminster Palace. It is called Big Ben in memory of Benjamin Hall, a politician who worked for the construction department. Its very beautiful and amazing

London Eye, 135 metres high, is the biggest wheel in the world. The tour takes 30 minutes and offers a beautiful panorama of London.

THIS IS LONDON Description audio Description écrite
THIS IS LONDON The London bus is very different from our buses. It's red with double decks and we are obliged to show our ticket when we enter the bus! Contrary to the bus, the taxi is black and it's sometimes an old kind of car. The London phone box is all red. It's typical of london. I think that their bus is better than ours because there are video cameras in the bus. We can go up to discover the city.
