La forme ergonomique de la coque d’assise est une élégante évolution des coques historiques. Elle procure un confort optimum par son haut dossier, une grande élégance par le traitement très fin des chants, tout en gardant un agréable aspect vintage. Piétements avec cadre acier vissé à la coque par 4 inserts métalliques SICUR avec 4 dents et pas de vis M6. Acier haute résistance norme AISI 420. Finition LQ laqué époxy avec vernis polyester brillance 5, ou CH chromé suivant la norme ISO En option, coque garnie, ou placet d’assise vissé, revêtu tissu/ vinyle/ cuir. Norme au feu auto extinguible, classifié V 0 et BS Crib 5, et BS 5852: Clause 12. Matériaux non polluant, et non électrostatique. Cf descriptif général. L’essentiels des modèles répondent aux critères les plus élevés des procédures pour usage collectif sévère. Une copie de l’ensemble des ces tests et certificats est disponible sur demande. L’ensemble de la production CRASSEVIG est réalisée en Italie avec l’objectif du zéro km, soit une utilisation des sous traitant les plus proches de l’usine située au cœur du Frioul, région spécialisée dans la production de chaises.

whyPolyurethane? MATERIAL DESCRIPTION BAYDUR® polyuretahne is compact microcellular engineered polymer for reaction-injection moulding (RIM). Main raw materials are isocyanate and polyol. It is a compact material, with a density of about 1050 g/dm3. It is particularly recommended for use where there is need for ergonomics, solidity, mechanical resistance and shock absorption. SUITABLE FOR HEAVY USAGE - Excellent resistance to mechanical stress - Good surface hardness - In-Mould-Coating guarantees a longer resistance - Guaranteed chemical inertness on contact with many organic and inorganic substances (include the most common acids) - Offers excellent electrical and thermal insulation properties - Outstanding weather resistance - High stiffness with low thicknesses - Proven quality for usage in sectors such as o Educational (Schools, Universities) o Health and Care (Hospitals, Rest Homes) o HoReCa (Bars, Restaurants, Canteens) FIRE RETARDANT - Classified as V-0 (UL certified, and BS Crib 5 - Self extinguishing - Flaming combustion lower than 10 seconds after test flame application - It achieves a very good fire behaviour without brominated flame retardants or halogenatedaddictives (which can develop poisoning gas during combustion)

whyPolyurethane? ECO FRIENDLY - It does not contain any expanding gas and it has no effect on ozone layer at all. - Produced using water based, solvent-free, environmental friendly varnishes (savings in washing, colouring paste, processing). Other rigid polyurethanes are commonly liquid afterpainted with an important environmental impact (mainly due to non-water solvent systems). - No phthalates in raw materials - Compared with thermoplastic materials, PU production has always a lower environmental impact. Its processing needs lower temperature and lower pressure of exercize, affording an energy saving of minimum 60% LONGER LIFE CYCLE - Resists to temperatures from – 40° to + 80° and does not embrittle - No ageing of the material CONCLUSIONS - BAYDUR® is a rigid polyurethane, it has a lower impact in first step (birth) because of its lower costs of production but it is not “recyclable” in the most common meaning of the word. Anyway recyclability of common thermoplastics is an overvalued topic, being the practical difficulties often very high. - Best way to decrease environmental impact of a product is to decrease total amount of raw material and extend its life.
