Buts de la présentation Vous sensibiliser à l’importance de l’utilisabilité. Vous fournir des outils qui vous permettront de tenir compte de l’utilisabilité dans toutes vos décisions. Vous aider à cerner les besoins de vos utilisateurs en ce qui concerne l’installation et la configuration de TikiWiki.

Importance de l’utilisabilité des wikis Wiki is (among many things) about removing barriers to collaborative publishing. Web publishing the OldWay: Browse web site and see something that needs to be changed. Open FTP client. Connect FTP client to web server (address not same as URL of page, may need to configure parameters of FTP for example, SSH). Type in userid and password (assuming you remember them). Navigate server’s file system (need to find root of web server, and possibly inspect web server configuration file for aliases). Download page to local machine. Load local copy to your favourite HTML editor. Modify the page. Save modified local copy. Transfer it back to web server with FTP client (may need to restart timed out connection). Reload the page in web browser.

This is not just about making users less grumpy. It’s about enabling things that would otherwise never happen: Contribution by non-technical authors (including children).
