You must conjugate verbs! Grammar Words to Know: Infinitive- the unconjugated verb (to have) Conjugate- I have, you have, he/she has… YOU DON’T SAY I to have or You to have.

avoir | to have This very important verb is irregular. What does it mean to be an irregular verb? An irregular verb is one that doesn’t follow the normal rules of conjugation.
