The Future Tense You can express the future tense in French in two ways. by using aller + infinitive of the verb. e.g. Je vais parler à Marie= I am going to talk to Mary.
The Future Tense The second way is to actually conjugate the verb with the corresponding endings. -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont
The Future Tense For most verbs, attach the endings to the infinitive. These verbs are the –er and –ir verbs (e.g. habiter, manger, finir, choisir)
The Future Tense The –RE verbs though drop only the e from the infinitive ending. Here are some examples: Apprendre-> japprendrai Vendre -> je vendrai…. E.t.c
PASSER Je passerai Tu passeras Il, elle, on passera Nous passerons Vous passerez Ils elles passeront
APPREND-RE Je apprendrai Tu apprendras Elle, il, on apprendra Nous apprendrons Vous apprendrez Elles, ils apprendront
Fin-IR Je finirai Tu finiras Elle, il on finira Nous finirons Vous finirez Elles, ils finiront
