Le nouveau vocabulaire - ne…pas encore (not yet) – Je n’ai pas encore étudié pour le quiz. ne…plus (no longer) – Je ne chante plus. ne…personne (no one) – Je n’ai vu personne.
Le nouveau vocabulaire - You can use “rien” and “personne” as subjects of a sentence. Rien n’est parfait. - Nothing is perfect. Personne n’a téléphoné. - Nobody has called.
Negative sentences in the passé composé. Place the negative words around the form of avoir when making negative sentences. Exception: the word personne. Je ne danse jamais. Je n’ai jamais dansé. Je ne chante pas ce soir. Je n’ai pas encore chanté ce soir. Je ne fais rien. Je n’ai rien fait. Je ne vois personne. Je n’ai vu personne.
