Work requests 2011 Work Requests PH-ESE PH-DT ATLAS ALICE CMS LHCb PH DSO

Work requests 2011 PH-ESE 1.Refurbishment of sanitary installations in Bat 13/14 (GS tender out). 2.Complete air-conditioning installation in bat13/14 (GS finally starting to move on this) 3.Refurbishment on entrance of bat 13 (not yet in detailed GS planning). 4.Refurbishment of SS13 to make it appropriate for storage and secondary labs 5.General painting of corridors and stair cases when the work above is finalized. 6.Refurbishment of meeting room (air conditioning, heating, curtains, painting, EVO infrastructure)

Work requests 2011 PH-DT 1.Renovation of B20/168/21 (presented at SPOB May 2010). Some urgent works have been started already 2.Renovation of B16/17/153 (presented at SPOB March 2011) 3.Reorganization/rationalization of group space

Work requests 2011 ATLAS Point barrack for WC + showers at entry of SDX1 to replace current one in bad state 2.1 WC barrack besides 3159, to serve the offices there (existing one has been condemned) 3.Proper pathway Point 1 to Globe, current one is not accessible to handicapped people 4.Refurbish 3150 and 3159 (offices, control room and conference rooms)

Work requests 2011 ALICE 1.NETWORK/WIRELESS Bldg/offices 26-r-021&023 (ZDC): To increase the number of network sockets or install a good wireless connection. 2.BLINDS/WINDOWS/Miscellaneous Bldg/office(TRD) 13-r-038: install blinds on the windows (difficulties to read screens), also, phonic isolation would be necessary. 3.TOILETS Bldg 53: (DAQ) Refurbishment toilets; in a very bad shape 4.NEW STRUCTURES Bldg 167: (TPC): building of a closed tent or barrack around TPC test setup to ensure safety for operating the setup with a laser system

Work requests 2011 ALICE 1.AIR CONDITIONING Bldg 544 (PMD): old baraque building: office space gets very hot with 3-4 computers 2.Bldg 11 (Offline) Ground floor: in summer the temperature gets very high (~40degrees), building is from 1962 and theres no correct thermal isolation. Working conditions are unbearable. 3.Bdlg 12 (Offline)Ground and 1 st floor: in summer the temperature gets very high (~40degrees), building is from 1962 and theres no correct thermal isolation. Working conditions are unbearable.

Work requests 2011 ALICE Point 2 1.Bldg 2285 (SX2) : draining of the toilets The draining of the SX2 toilettes runs along the building (partially beneath the ACR) and gets often blocked because of the low design slope. The ACR occupants have complained in various occasions, for obvious reasons. Vallier intervenes practically every month to unblock the duct. According to GS (Pierre Debernard) the solution would consist in making a new draining outside the building, and condemning the old one. GS came a couple of times to study this. We could profit of these works for renovating the toilettes, which are in very bad conditions.

Work requests 2011 ALICE Point 2 1.Bldg 2252 (SXL2): fix doors (request pending : vent= &button=Search) 1.Outside: renovation of asphalts in parking slots 2.(Already presented at the SPOB/GTPE/Site Cttee: storage area in order to remove old barracks at P2, we assume it is funded)

Work requests 2011 CMS 1.BDG 27 1.Sous-sol: Recuperate space with old heating (to be dismantled). Could serve as storage space. This should be relatively easy. 2.Dismantle the "sas" of the room close to the entrance, enlarge it by adding a room close by, no longer used by the cleaners, to make a lab. This could be quite tricky since there are electrical cupboards etc... so there can be safety issues. 3.Re-paint the corridors and refurbish some windows. 4.Refurbish toilets

Work requests 2011 CMS 1.BDG Replace the ceramic water closet in the man's toilet 2.Cover the wooden stairs that lead to the 1st floor from the 'main' entrance with PVC, Lino or similar 2.Barracks 596 and If not dismantled soon, toilets needs to be remade, and most windows needs to be refurbished. 3.BDG 28 1.Leaking pipes (reported to 77777) 4.B904+Point5
