What do all these verbs have in common??? They are generally verbs that express MOTION. How will I remember them all?
How is it different from the passé composé with avoir? Conjugate être instead (suis, es, est, sommes êtes, sont). Change the past participle to match the person in gender & number when necessary. –add “e” for feminine –add “s” for plural That’s it!
Try these examples in your notes. 1.The students arrived. 2.The girls fell down. 3.The dog didn’t stay. 4.My sister left for the university. 5.We went to sixth hour.

What do you do with them in the passé composé? Conjugate être as the helping verb (suis, es, est, sommes êtes, sont). Put the reflexive pronoun (me, te, se, nous, vous, se) IN FRONT OF the form of être. Change the past participle to match the subject (people doing the action) in number (sing/pl) & gender (masc/fem).
