What is an “Auxiliary Verb”? It is another verb necessary to complete some tenses like the Perfect and the Plu-Perfect. Often the verbs -Avoir (to have, i gael) or -Être (to be, i fod) Are used.
Let me show you what I mean with an example using the Perfect tense of “Jouer” (to play, i Chwarae). ilajoué hehasplayed Auxiliary verb In this case “to have” Past Participle form of Active Verb
So if I know the present and the imperfect tense of “to have” or “to be” + the Past Participle of the active verb, I can construct the Perfect and Plu-Perfect tenses in French Yep!
