The first student to ring the bells gives his/her best guess as to one of the top 5 answers in the category. If the student who rings in first gives an answer that is not ranked #1 (or not ranked at all), the second student may try to give a higher ranked answer. Whomever has the highest ranking answer wins the round. Points associated with the answers go into a pot. Now play proceeds to the team who won the first round. Each team member is asked in turn to name something else that fits the category. For correct answers, the points for that answer are added to the pot. Incorrect answers receive a strike. Each team gets 3 strikes (orange squares on left margin), after which, the other team gets to try to steal the pot by getting one of the remaining correct answers. Once the category has been exhausted, the two next players (one from each team next in line from the 1 st players), come to the center of the room to repeat the cycle. The winning team is the one with the most points at the end of the game.
