 The direct and indirect pronouns replace a direct object noun. They are placed before the conjugated verb. If you have 2 verbs and one of them is an infinitive, the object pronoun is before the infinitive  Ex: Je vais le regarder.

 Imparfait:  Je le regardais.  Je lui parlais.  Present:  Je lui parle.  Je le mange.  Passé Compose:  Je l’ai regarde.  Je lui ai envoyé.
