More Subject Pronouns- Here are the plural subject pronouns (that means they refer to more than one person). Nous = We Vous = You (plural or formal) Ils = They (masculine or mixed) Elles = They (feminine)

Tu vs. Vous You might have noticed there are two subject pronouns that mean “you”. Tu Tu is used when speaking to friends and family or others you own age. It is singular and informal. Vous Vous is used when speaking to more than one person, someone you don’t know very well, or someone to whom you wish to show respect. It is plural or formal.
