SAVOIR: to know (how) Le verbe SAVOIR = to know (factual information as a result of having studied /researched/found out): Je sais son nom. Elle s’appelle Lulu. Sais-tu son adresse? Oui. C’est 35 rue Ste. Anne.

SAVOIR: to know (how) Le verbe SAVOIR = to know how to do something (when followed by an infinitive): Je sais lire. I know how to read. Sais-tu faire la cuisine? Do you know how to cook?
