4 Extracts 2 Summary : Stan and Andrei have been in Star City for a while. One night, as Stan walks alone in a corridor, he goes into a room that overlooks the isolation chamber (this is where the cosmonauts train for being all alone when they will be in space). As he’s looking at the cosmonaut in the isolation chamber, a fire starts and burns the chamber and the cosmonaut. Stan stands there not being able to respond, and other people come in to put out the fire. On the following day, a letter is given to Stan, telling him that “nothing happened”. (for further details, cf. script). 5 Extraits 2 Résumé : Stan et Andrei sont à la Cité des Etoiles depuis un moment. Une nuit, alors que Stan marche seul dans un couloir, il entre dans une pièce qui donne sur une chambre d’isolation (où les cosmonautes s’entrainent à la solitude à laquelle ils vont être confrontés dans l’espace). Alors qu’il est en train de regarder le cosmonaute dans la chambre d’isolation, un feu se déclare et consume la pièce et le cosmonaute. Stan reste là, debout, incapable de réagir, et d’autres personnes entrent pour éteindre le feu. Le jour suivant, on donne à Stan une lettre, qui lui dit que “rien ne s’est passé”. Stan esta mirando al cosmonauta en la camara cuando la camara se prende de fuego. Stan se queda ahi, no puede mover ni dejar de mirar. Otras personas vienen y apagan el fuego. El dia siguiente, Stan recibe une carta, en la que le dicen que “no ocurrio nada”. 7 Abstract 3 Summary : Stan and Andrei have been in Star City for quite a long time. They have formed a love triangle with Julia. After an accident, Andrei had to give up being a cosmonaut, and turned to politics. When he was asked who should be sent to the moon, he designated Stan, and off went Stan to space. (for further details, cf. script). ----------------------TRANSMEDIA-------------------------- -Phone Calls: There will be a whole series of conversations while Stan is in space, where he talks to Yulia, Andrei, or both of them. They will be familiar and close conversations, about everything and nothing. Thanks to them we can get to know a bit more about the characters and their relationship. It will be broadcasted on radio and the internet. ----------------------TRANSMEDIA------------------------- = You can ask your students to engage in role plays, having these conversations pretending to be the film characters.

Après un accident, Andrei a dû abandonner son rêve d’être cosmonaute, et s’est tourné vers la politique. Quand on lui a demandé qui devrait être envoyé sur la lune, il a désigné Stan, et Stan a décollé pour l’espave. ----------------------TRANSMEDIA-------------------------- -Conversations téléphoniques : il y aura toute une série de conversations pendant que Stan est dans l’espace, pendant lesquelles il parle à Yulia, à Andrei, ou à tous les deux.
