6 LMHSEM 001  The importance of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment. Wearing PPE saved many life around the world, these equipments are not used to avoid accidents or incidents but are very important to reduce the choc when an accident or incident happen. We have general PPE and specific PPE. General PPE: Specific PPE Safety shoes Gloves (it’s selected according the kind of activity you’re doing) Helmet Safety Google (it’s selected according the kind of activity you’re doing) Coverall we have several different kind PPE, all these PPE must be worn correctly according your activity, if they’re not correctly used, they won’t save your life but can lead to an accident or incident. So please check and pay more attention on your workers' PPE and be sure they always wear them correctly. July 30 th 2016

7  Journey Safety Analysis (JSA). The journey safety Analysis is really important for our Drivers.  It’s not safe at all to carry personal on the mal back of the vehicle, in case of any crash, they are not protected at all and not cover by the assurance. The driver will be responsible of the disaster according the law in our country and telemenia safe driving procedure.  Always put your safety belt at any travel.  Speed limit according telemenia safe driving procedure should be respected by all drivers of the company.  Safety distance should be respected, it’s one of the best way to avoid crash because that let you enough time to react if the driver forward you lose control of his vehicle.  Daily vehicle inspection.  Reduce the average of travel by day so as it will reduce also the frequency of exposure of having crash.  Only authorized personal having a driving license should drive. 8  Smoking area. The risks associated with passive smoking were scientifically proven by dozens of studies. Tobacco smoke contains 4,000 different chemicals, 60 of which are carcinogenic. It is dangerous to the smoker and those around him Passive smoking is the involuntary inhalation, in a non-smoking topic of smoke from his neighborhood. There are three types of tobacco smoke : The smoke inhaled by the smoker. Secondhand smoke escaping laterally from the cigarette ( whose composition is very different from the smoke taken by the smoker ). The smoke released by the active smoker who plays a lesser role In 2002, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has formally declared that passive smoke was carcinogenic. Unexposed smoking, passive smoking can cause: a deterioration of the cardiovascular system lung cancer asthma and respiratory tract infections. The latest research shows that among non-smoking, a single exposure to a half hour to passive smoke is enough to weaken the heart temporarily. here are some reasons why it forbidden to smoke in some specific area. No smoking on activity area even if it’s a fool open space. Reasons: In this area you have many workers and you don’t know the statement of their health, may be some of them are asthmatic, and some are no smoker. No smoking in vehicles. Reason: these vehicle are not personal, it’s for the company and transport workers all the time, inside the people that you transport may be there is a no smoker our an asthmatic. No smoking in offices. We have offices with air conditioner which keep the odor of the smoke of cigarette, it’s a closed space and you receive many people (visitors, subcontractors, employees…) during the work day along. Lot of them are no smokers. NB: Please smoke only on designed area to protect the health of no smokers LMHSEM 001 July 30 th 2016

9  Environment protection Ask to all the subcontractors to avoid throwing empty plastic bottles, Drinks bobbins, coffee cup… everywhere on our field lines. We have to keep our environment clean and safe. Always bring back to the base all the trashes and put them in bins. LMHSEM 001 July 30 th 2016

10  Job steps risks assessment The first responsible of our safety is ourselves, that is why it’s recommended to make a JSA (job safety analysis) before you start any activity. If you don’t do it for each step of your activity, you put yourself and all your team members in danger. You should Know what are the risks and hazards in each step of your work so you can easily find the safe way to achieve your job safely by respecting the procedures in place and full PPE. 11  First Aid Kits For our teams working on field I noticed while my inspections on field that our workers work alone and there is no presence of a vehicle for an MEDEVAC (Medical Evacuation). No first aid kit. And no means of communication between them and theirs supervisors. LMHSEM 001 July 30 th 2016

12  Crane operation activity It’s the most dangerous activity in our TLM POG RISKS ASSESSMENT MATRIX. So please respect the Safe Crane Operation Procedure in place. At least, avoid staying under a load, make signs to the operator instead of an emergency stop sign, don’t put the pressure to the operator and his assistants or they will not make correctly theirs job and it will be unsafe for them and everyone around… The crane operations accidents killed more than thousand people over the world.
