Modifications to Chapter III (1) For this purpose, a first set of modifications: makes provision for improved compensation for work during the annual closure (assimilated to official holiday work) Congés spéciaux = équivalent jours fériés Indemnités de piquet doublée reduces the minimum period of stand-by duty from 30 days to one week extends eligibility for special working hours to staff in the whole of Career Path E (e.g. to experts when required for complex issues) Avant : limite à Eb

Modifications to Chapter III (2) makes provision for staff in Career Paths F & G to receive compensation (time only) for night work and to be compensated/remunerated at the Director-General’s discretion for time worked during official work holidays or equivalent Avant juillet 08 : rien pour F & G extends eligibility for special working hours, except shift work, to Fellows –such activities may be considered as part of their training and preparation for their future working life – compensated in time only Avant juillet 08 : rien pour les boursiers

Modifications to Chapter III (3) In line with approach adopted for 11th edition of the Staff Rules & Regulations, a second set of modifications proposes: Streamlining with structural improvements Relegation of technical details from Chapter III to corresponding administrative circulars(e.g. the definition of a day, the calculation of the basic hourly remuneration or the existence of a shift roster)

1ère série de modifications dans EDH (juillet 2008) Claim OVT fonctionne pour Ec et Ee Claim OVT pour F&G et Boursiers  création + circuit signature fonctionne mais transfert bloqué pour l’instant! 2ème série de modifications (en cours) Piquet Noël Nouveau type: intervention à distance (avec 1 h de majoration) Indemnité piquet payée aussi pendant intervention Mise à jour « warnings » et références Réglages transfert Noël + F&G + Boursiers Distinction dans OVT summary des F&G + boursiers
