S’entendre = to get on well Se disputer = to argue Se confier = to confide S’amuser= to have fun S’occuper de= to look after Se moquer de= to make fun of S’ennuyer= to get bored Se chamailler = to quarrel Choose at least 3 verbs and put them into a short sentence in French

Je m’entends bien avec ma mère parce que je me confie à elle et elle me laisse faire ce que je veux. Je ne m’entends pas avec ma petite soeur parce qu’elle n’aide pas à la maison et elle se moque de moi. Je me dispute avec mon grand frère parce qu’il ne s’occupe pas de notre petit frère. Je m’entends bien avec mon petit frère parce qu’on joue ensemble. Je ne m’entends pas bien avec ma grande soeur parce qu’elle me critique toujours.

10 Group reading challenge
In teams of 3 or 4, you will look at text and create 5 questions for the other groups All questions have to be in English and include the number of marks. You will then have 8 minutes on each texts to try to answer as many questions as possible and win points for your team. Write down all the new words on labels for your box!

12 Short reading task Je m’entends bien avec ma demi-sœur Léa, parce qu’elle m’aide à faire mes devoirs. Elle est très intelligente et elle est assez compréhensive. Je m’entends bien avec mon demi-frère Victor parce qu’il est rigolo et il me laisse jouer avec son ordinateur ou écouter sa musique. On s’intèresse aux mêmes choses. Je me dispute souvent avec mon petit frère Yannick parce qu’il est vraiment embêtant. Ça m’énerve quand il vient dans ma chambre quand j’ai des amis et il veut jouer avec nous. Je me chamaille avec ma petite sœur Sara aussi , parce qu’elle est trop gâtée par mes parents. Avec mon parents, ca va, mais mon père est un peu strict. Il m’empêche de regarder la télé. Je suis plus proche de ma mère parce qu’elle est toujours à l’écoute et je peux me confier à elle… et si je fais la vaisselle de temps en temps elle me laisse sortir avec mes copains mais seulement quand mon père n’est pas là!
