Weekend activities 1617frey9W6weekend The Big Idea To be able to talk about what you do at the weekend Lesson Objectives ALL understand basic phrases about what weekend routine and recognise the difference between phrases using aimer + infinitive and phrases using the conjugated part of the verb MOST produce spoken and written phrases to talk about their own weekend routine SOME understand more complex phrases and start to adapt the phrases learnt and practised to say what their weekend routine is using the correct part of the verb. 11 Read the texts about when the teenagers get up and go to bed at the weekend. Then answer the questions in English: What time does Patrice get up on Saturdays? What time does Patrice go to bed on Saturdays? What time does Patrice get up on Sundays? Why does Isabelle get up at 6:45 on Saturday morning? What time does Isabelle go to bed on Sunday evening? Who gets up the latest on Sunday morning, Patrice or Isabelle?

Mon temps libre – Francis parle Quand je suis chez moi j’aime jouer sur ma console, regarder les dessins animés à la télé et lire. J’aime les livres de science-fiction et de fantaisie. De temps en temps je joue des jeux de société avec mes parents ou mon frère. Monopoly, c’est le jeu que je préfère. Je ne suis pas très sportif, mais en été je joue au tennis au parc avec mes amis et je fais de la natation à la piscine. Au collège je fais de la gymnastique et je joue au football au terrain de foot. J’adore aller au cinéma avec mes copains. Le week-end dernier j’ai vu le dernier film de James Bond. C’était pas mal. J’aime acheter du popcorn et du coca, mais c’est cher. J’aime la musique et je fais des cours de piano, mais je n’aime pas travailler le piano. Je chante dans une chorale au collège et à la maison j’écoute la musique pop sur mon portable. J’utilise mon portable pour envoyer des textos et aller sur internet. Il y a des forums que j’aime et de temps en temps je partage des photos sur Instagram. En général je fais beaucoup de choses et je ne m’ennuie pas.
