3 MoH&SW The Gambia It is the view of the MOH&SW, The Gambia, that the two consortia, ie IHP+ & UHC are two powerful alliances that can effectively work together to enhance the ultimate goal of accessing HIGH QUALITY UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE for all. In addition, IHP+ should support build country capacities towards the achievement of SDG3, target 3.8 by 2030. 22/11/2018

4 MoH Vietnam We agree and support for expanding the IHP+ to become UHC alliance. This change can broaden the scope of IHP+ and engage IHP+ members more effectively to the universal health coverage. In Vietnam, UHC refers to many areas: health insurance, family doctor network, primary health care, grassroot health system, ... we fully support to this initiative and will continue to participate in this process. 22/11/2018

UHC is what countries are seeking, therefore support for this mandate is necessary This would be a transition from somewhat abstract and very broad agenda to focussed outcomes pertaining to HSS & UHC In fact by adopting the mandate for UHC it would reach out to the poorest of the poor 22/11/2018

L’elargissement des activites en rapport avec la Couverture Sanitaire Universelle aura un valeur ajoutee certaine et permettra de mieux visualiser les efforts et les resultats obetnus par IHP+ Le CSU est un defi mondial comme l’atteinte des ODD, il faut capitaliser les acquis de l’IHP+ pour ces nouveaux defis. Il ne faut pas creer d’autres alliances car l’IHP+ est deja une alliance A partir du moment ou l’ensemble des pays signataires s’orientent vers la CSU, un elargissement des activites de IHP+ vers la CSU semble pertinente 22/11/2018
