5 Informations Le tournoi des 6 nations réuni les nations les meilleures de l’hémisphère Nord en rugby à 15 : l’Angleterre, l’Écosse, la France, l’Irlande, l’Italie et le Pays de Galles. Dans l’hémisphère Sud, son « frère jumeau » est le tournoi des tri-nations. Il réunit l’Afrique du Sud, l’Australie et la Nouvelle Zélande. Le tournoi des 6 nations existe depuis 1910. Chaque équipe rencontre les 5 autres. L’équipe qui remporte le tournoi est soit celle qui a battu les 5 autres (on dit qu’elle a réalisé le « grand chelem » - « Grand Slam » en anglais), soit celle qui a marqué le plus de points sur l’ensemble de ses matchs ; elle reçoit une coupe.
