2 Il fait très chaud. Pénurie d’eau dans la région depuis plusieurs jours. It is very hot. No Water in the region for several days.

3 Nous partons en reportage avec deux journalistes de « La Voix du Ouaddaï ». We start on assignment with two journalists from "The Voice of Ouaddai".

4 Les villages que nous traversons manquent d’eau depuis plusieurs jours. We go through villages which have no water for several days.

7 Nous arrivons à la STEE – Société nationale tchadienne d’eau et l’électricité. We arrive at the STEE – Chadian National Society of Water and electricity.

13 Le problème semble avoir été localisé à quelques kilomètres de là. The problem seems to be located a few miles away.

14 Nous allons voir l’endroit. We'll see the place.

15 Le responsable de la STEE nous montre la canalisation dont les joints ont lâché. The head of the STEE shows the pipe joints gave out.

16 Là, des ouvriers écopent l’eau depuis plusieurs heures. There, workers empty the water for several hours.

17 La canalisation sera bientôt réparée. The pipeline will be repaired soon.

19 Bagui, un des deux journalistes, va prier. Bagui, one of two journalists, will pray. Puis, nous repartons vers la radio. Then we leave to the radio. Sur la route du retour, une surprise … On the way back, a surprise...

20 L’eau a déjà recommencé à couler autour de la zone proche de la canalisation. Water has already begun to flow around the area near the pipeline.
