2 2 EWC CEE - International Dominating role of representatives from the centre The EWC as 'extended' national structure is of greatest interests to representatives from subsidiaries to get information from the mother company. Rôle dominant des représentants du centre Le CEE en tant qu’ “extension” d’une représentation nationale = grand intérêt pour les représentants des filiales étrangères pour obtenir des informations de la direction centrale.

3 3 EWC CEE Multinational n No danger of transfer of production. n The EWC = sum of its national delegations, who use the EWC to improve their position in local/national consultation or negotiations structures. n The company might proceed to more international integration. The EWC might prepare itself for this. n Pas de danger de transfert de production n CEE = représentations nationales qui utilisent le CEE pour renforcer leur position dans les structures de consultations nationales ou locales n L ’entreprise peut tendre vers l ’intégration internationale. 4 4 EWC CEE - Transnational n EWC becomes a necessity, national consultation rights are becoming less relevant n EWC develops dimension of its own. Some items may be co-ordinated or even regulated on European level. n For management the EWC can become a check whether the international company strategy is being implemented at local level. n Le CEE devient une nécessité car les droits nationaux de consultation et de négociation sont de moins en moins pertinents n Le CEE développe ses propres dimensions.
