3 On page 232: Do # 31 Grammaire: The comparative To compare nouns, use plus de, and autant de ( as many/much) before the noun. Use que or qu’ (than) to continue the comparison. II fait plus de bruit que l’autre voisin. Elle a moins d’argent que son frère. Tu achètes autant de livres que moi.

4 To compare adjectives and adverbs, use plus, moins, or aussi (as). Remember to make the adjectives agree with the nouns they refer to. Les gens sont plus pressés en ville qu’à la campagne. Mon village est moins pollué que la ville. La campagne est aussi intéressante que la ville. * English uses only one word, better, as the comparative of both the adjective good and the adverb well. There are two words for better in French.

5 You use meilleur(e)(s) to say that something is better than something else. Les fruits sont meilleurs à la campagne qu’en ville. You use mieux to say that something is done better. On mange mieux à la campagne qu’en ville. * PP 240-241, Act.6-9
