85 Apportez-moi… For this activity, put pupils into rainbow groups by giving each pupil a card which is either blue, red, green or yellow and asking them to form a group with 4 colours. They can also say their colour as they are moving around the class. Ask them to introduce themselves using Bonjour etc. Then teacher asks a different colour each time to bring them an object of a colour. E.g. La personne rouge, apportez moi un objet bleu!

86 Apportez-moi Apportez-moi un objet means “Bring me an object”
Pupils work in teams/cooperative groups Teacher calls out “Apportez moi un objet” and adds a colour onto the end e.g. Apportez-moi un objet bleu The pupils must race to give the teacher something that colour. You can ask pupils to then say what colour it is e.g. C’est rouge. Pupils can also then take a turn of asking others to “Apportez-moi un object….!”

87 Des groupes arc en ciel Teacher gives a coloured card to all pupils with either one of yellow, blue, red or green. Pupils then have to organise themselves into groups by asking the question, “C’est de quelle couleur?” and saying their own colour (the question is optional depending on class!). There should be an equal (as much as is possible) number of each colour card in the class so that the pupils are in groups with one of each colour.

88 Des introductions en groupe.
Bonjour Ça va? Je m’appelle… Ma couleur préférée c’est le…. Teacher gives a coloured card to all pupils with either one of yellow, blue, red or green. Pupils then have to organise themselves into groups by asking the question, “C’est de quelle couleur?” and saying their own colour (the question is optional depending on class!). There should be an equal (as much as is possible) number of each colour card in the class so that the pupils are in groups with one of each colour.

89 Apportez-moi un objet….
Apportez-moi means bring me. The teacher asks one colour of person in each group to bring here un object and then adds a colour. Each team gets a point for whatever the deliver of that object.

90 Qu’est-ce qui manque? Qu’est-ce qui manque? means what’s missing?
Pupils look at the colours on the following slides, close their eyes, teacher moves the slide on and one colour will disappear. Pupils then open their eyes and have to say which colour is missing. You can then get pupils to do the same activity in their groups.
