9 DON’T USE “TU” in front of the verb
To give a command to one person, use the ending of the « TU » form of the present. DON’T USE “TU” in front of the verb Ecouter le prof *Ecoute le prof! Fais du sport! Faire du sport Finis tes problèmes! de math. Finir tes problèmes de math

10 DON’T USE “VOUS” in front of the verb
To give a command to a group of persons, use the ending of the «VOUS » form of the present. DON’T USE “VOUS” in front of the verb Ecouter le prof Ecoutez le prof! Prendre votre livre Prenez votre livre! Finissez tes problèmes de math! Finir tes problèmes de math

11 DON’T USE “NOUS” in front of the verb = LET’S + VERB
To make a suggestion, use the ending of the «NOUS » form of the present. DON’T USE “NOUS” in front of the verb = LET’S + VERB Aller au restaurant Allons au restaurant! Mettre des bottes Mettons des bottes! Finissons le dessert! Finir le dessert

13 To form the negative form, use Ne before the verb and Pas after the verb.
