5 Remember the words that trigger the imparfait: Toujours/beaucoup Souvent/rarement De temps en temps/ quelquefois Chaque jour/semaine/mois/an Tous les jours/mois/ans Toutes les semaines Comme ci comme ça If you see these words in a sentence in the past tense, use the imparfait!
