2 On-line resource materials for policy making Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, FAO Ex-Ante Carbon-balance Tool Ce module fait partie dune série de power points visant à décrire la structure et le fonctionnement de loutil EX-ACT. EX-ACT (Ex-Ante Carbon-balance tool) est un outil développé par lOrganisation des Nations Unies pour lAlimentation etlAgriculture (FAO). Il vise à apporter des estimations de limpact des projets de développement agricoles et forestiers sur les émissions de Gas à effet de serre et la séquestration de carbone, indiquant leurs effets dans un bilan carbone. Il sagit dun système basé sur lutilisation des terres, associée à ladoption de gestion et de pratiques alternatives (Voir le flyer de loutil EX-ACT ). Loutil adopte une approche par module, chaque module étant décrit dans un power point comme celui-ci. A propos

Bilan Carbone: doit être considéré, pour un projet spécifique (ou un scénario daction) en comparaison avec une référence, comme le bilan net de toutes les émissions de GES à linterface de latmosphère exprimées en CO 2 equivalent (sources and puits) et le changement net des stocks de carbone (biomasse, sol…).
