3 How to make l’impératif Use Present tense Leave out the subject Tu écoutes. = You listen. Vous répondez. = You answer. Nous allons. = We go. Tu vas. = You go.Va! = Go! Allons! = Let’s go! Répondez! = Answer! Choisis! = Choose! Écoute! = Listen ! Tu choisis. = You choose.
