French AP Exam The French AP Exam is composed of a multiple-choice section and a free-response section. It is administered in May. 1 - Multiple-Choice Section 50% 30 questions on a variety of authentic print materials 35 questions on a variety of authentic audio materials, some being paired with print materials 2 - Free-Response Section 50% Written response -Short written reply to an message -Persuasive essay of 250 words based on three sources (article, table, audio document) presenting different viewpoints on a topic b. Spoken response -Five questions as part of a simulated conversation -Two-minute presentation in response to a prompt on a cultural topic
