Color adjectives that are named after nouns include argent (silver), citron (lemon), crème (cream), marron (chestnut), or (gold), and orange (orange). Remember that the adjective châtain is used to describe brown hair. You can use it in the plural, but it is very rarely used in the feminine. Elle a les cheveux châtains.
