ETRE CONJUGATION Now make a verb chart for the verb être. être = to be je suis nous sommes tu es vous êtes il/elle est ils/elles sont YOU NEED TO MEMORIZE ALL FORMS BECAUSE THEY ARE UNIQUE AND DO NOT FOLLOW ANY PATTERN
ETRE TRANSLATIONS Now translate the conjugations of être Je suis = I am Tu es = you are Il /elle est = he/ she is Nous sommes = we are Vous êtes = you are Ils / elles sont = they are

ETRE IN THE NEGATIVE Remember that to make a sentence negative we put ne …. pas around the conjugated verb. EXAMPLES Je ne suis pas méchante. I’m not mean Elle n’est pas forte. She isn’t strong You (formal) aren’t annoying. Vous n’ êtes pas pénibles.
