Teachers’ notes You can add this language gradually, bit by bit, and as pupils remember one phrase, you can add on to the next. Mot du mois = Word of the month Phrase du mois = Sentence of the month Are both useful approaches in being able to do this! NB: It’s also useful to revisit the Early and First vocabulary –especially during these beginning stage of 1+2 implementation. There is no shame in this! Language needs to be reviewed and repeated all the time in order to learn it and so the most important thing is to ensure that learners know Early and 1st Levels before moving on!
