Pour poser une question The first to know… Est-ce que….? Est-ce que literally translates to “is it that..?” and always comes before yes/no questions. Est-ce que tu aimes manger? Do you like to eat? Pourquoi est-ce qu’elle étudie au lycée? Why does she study at the school? Est-ce que nous allons à la soirée? Are we going to the party?
