QA/QC implementation Is the report the final issue of this task ? Task 3.1 C QA/QC implementation Is the report the final issue of this task ? Major requirements General scope : Chemical monitoring in water, biote and sediment Method analysis : validated accoding to ISO 17025 or equivalent Minimum performance criteria : uncertainty of 50% at EQS values and LQ not above 30% of EQS ( when existing) Calculation of Mean values : rules of LQ/2 except for sums of parameters QA/QC : ISO 17025 or equivalent, PT scheme and use of Reference material at appropriate level November, 17 CMEP-Geel-Anne MORIN

Sampling aspects Do you in your country consider sampling to be covered by this directive? 10 Yes- 6 No In case you have a quality management system for sampling, describe it briefly. Is it organised through ISO 17025? ISO 17025 or SOP based on ISO 5667 series . 16 answers even if sampling is not considered to be in the scope of the directive for 6 of the MS. The sampling part has to be discussed ? November, 17 CMEP-Geel-Anne MORIN
LQ aspects How do you define the concept of “best available techniques not entailing excessive costs” in view of the required minimum limit of quantification? What consequence in term of water status at the end of the process when LQ/2 is used for mean calculation? Different LQ definition Different BAT concept Need to be discussed November, 17 CMEP-Geel-Anne MORIN
How to go further within CMEP current activities ? Points to be discussed Is there an agreement on the scope ? How the specific rules will be checked (LQ, uncertainties) Is there a need for harmonization for LQ’s BAT and excessive costs Sampling How to go further within CMEP current activities ? Questions on the report Deadline for a final report ? Need for additional contribution in order to finalize the report Annex with answers : anonymous or not ? November, 17 CMEP-Geel-Anne MORIN
