Questions Categories: Simple words- pourquoi, comment, etc. Si Questions involving a preposition

Simple Question words: Qu’est-ce que both mean what

pourquoi - why comment -how combien de- how many quand - when

Si Remember, this word changes the rest of the sentence

Questions with a preposition Préposition - to, by, for, at, with

We learned that a preposition is: to (à), by (par), for (pour), at (à), or with (avec). When these are in your question, your answer is: Voici/c’est + item + preposition (same as in question)+ form of lequel+ je+ verb Question: Avec quoi dessines- tu? Réponse: Voici le stylo avec lequel je dessine

If your preposition is à (at, to, in): à and forms of lequel contract!!! à + lequel = auquel à+laquelle = à laquelle à+lesquels = auxquels à+lesquelles = à lesquelles

Example: à quoi jettes- tu le livre? Voici le coin à + lequel je jette le livre Voici le coin auquel je jette le livre.
