PRESAGE: Application Form Presage Seminar MED Programme – Final application 2nd call for proposals PRESAGE: Application Form Marseille, December 2nd, 2009 Lydwine Lafontaine, Presage seminar, Final application 2nd call for proposals- PRESAGE - 2nd of December 2009

Application form Available on PRESAGE -> ID and password Application form overview The application form is available online on the same address you have been using for the pre-application. Your ID and password remain the same as the ones you also used to log in for the pre-application. I will log in to the system to show you an overview of the application form for which the fill in procedures hasn’t change much. The application is more detailed, request more information, but the way it is structured and the basics to complete it remain the same. As you see there are 5 different main sections divided in subsections. I won’t be showing the next slide, you may follow the presentation though by keeping your paper version at sight. Lydwine Lafontaine, Presage seminar, Final application 2nd call for proposals- PRESAGE - 2nd of December 2009

Filling the application form Transferred information ID of the project Partnership Active titles FR / EN: short description, theme, summary Lengths Generated tables Summary of deliverables Time table Budget tables Help: Instructions by clicking on Guide (available on line) Some information have been automatically transferred to this new application form such as the Identification of the project and the partnership composition. Of course, all information related to the General Information section can be modified as in the pre-application form. The actions are the same. As a reminder though, don’t forget to save your changes and you can also generate draft .pdfs of your application if you want. There are also actives titles as well tables automatically generated through the system. Among the active titles, the headings under the subsections 1 through 4 from the 2nd section named “presentation of the project” has to be completed with plain text expect for the “Environmental checklist” which is simply a check list. Just pay attention to the maximum number of characters available. All the boxes under the 3rd section has also to be completed with plain text, as well as the section 4. Only the “Technical implementation of the project section” requires particular actions to be filled out. All information recorded in this section will be automatically send to the budget section and will result in automatically generated tables. Pay attention that the short description, the theme and the summary of the project have to be written in FRENCH and ENGLISH. This information is reminded to you in the help boxes above the form in each section. Remember also the limited number of characters for each section. Even if the numbers are higher than in the pre-application form, they still force you to be concise in your explanation. There are tables automatically generated with information you provide in other section such as the summary of deliverables, the time table and the budget tables. Anytime you need help, you may click on the question mark to input help. There is also an interactive guide available on line which works as the guide created for the filling of the pre-application form. I will show it to you briefly. This is a PPT presentation with links allowing you to target the information you need by clicking on them. In this guide, you will find more specifically information for filling the working plan which is the section that shows the more changes compare to the pre-application. Lydwine Lafontaine, Presage seminar, Final application 2nd call for proposals- PRESAGE - 2nd of December 2009

Filling the application form Focus on the Working Plan -> Work plan -> Components -> Phases -> Budget definition Documents to be printed / signed/ Stamped / Sent Lets than focus on the working plan: the working plan is still divided in components, but now, each component is divided in phases. We will see deeper how to create the phases and the components this afternnon during the online demonstration. For now, just notive that the budget will be define trhough that section. For each phase, you will have to define the allocated budget and this information will be send to the budget section where the tables will be generated. Nevertheless, once you are in the budget section, you have a link that allows you to update the working plan section from there. Then, once you save and validate your full application, you will generate and print the PDF version of your application, have it stamped, signed and sent to us. This brings us to the second presentation of the day with Patrizia Busolini reminding you the eligibility criteria related to your application.
