A verb expresses an action or a state. Aimer- to like, to love Parler- to speak Écouter-to listen Quitter- to leave What do these verbs have in common?

FORMATION Find the stem by dropping –er from the verb: ex. aimer->aim_, parler-> parl___ 2. Add the ending from below for the subject. THE ENDINGS FOR REGULAR –ER VERBS: Parler-> Je parle -e nous parlons –ons To speak Tu parles -es vous parlez -ez Il parle -e ils parlent -ent Elle parle -e elles parlent -ent

Attention: With the subject je, use j’ with verbs that start with a vowel or a silent –h ex. aimer- to like: j’aime habiter- to live: j’habite étudier-to study: j’étudie
