Harry One small pizza and one Coke for me. Debra Same for me but no Coke. I'll have a glass of milk, please. Harry So, you enjoyed your American holiday, didn't you? Debra Yes, but it was too short. Only three weeks. And we didn't go to New York. Harry I went to Australia, to visit my uncle in Melbourne. Left on July the 15th. Came back on August the 31st. Debra Six weeks ! You had a lot of time ! So, I suppose you did a lot of things ? Harry Yes, but my Australian cousins weren't on holiday. They were only free at the weekends. And it was winter there. We went skiing two or three times. We visited Sydney and its famous Opera House. Debra Yes, you sent me a post card from there. Harry I played a lot of tennis with my cousin Bill. I never managed to beat him. And we saw some very exciting rugby matches. Debra What did you like about Australia ? The people are nice, aren't they ? Harry Yes, they're very friendly. The weather wasn't bad. It wasn't too cold. And it was quite often sunny. And the food was excellent. I had kangaroo steak. Debra Oh ? Harry I've never had anything so good. Debra Were there things you didn't like ? Harry The trip was too long. Twenty two hours ! And there are dangerous snakes. Even in Sydney. Also, people kept wanting me to drink beer. Young people there drink a lot. Debra Did you try Australian wine ? My father says it's very good. Harry No, I'm not keen on wine. I prefer coke. Or milk.
