Teacher Notes Task One Introduce the question Ça-va? to the pupils and tell them what it means. Ask them to repeat it. Next click the mouse button and some cartoon characters will appear. Say what each would say in French in answer to the question. Ask the pupils to repeat each answer after you and ask them if they know what the characters are saying in English. Click the mouse button again for the words to appear underneath each picture and then again for each picture to be highlighted one at a time as you continue with group repetition.

Teacher Notes Task Two With all the words and pictures on the screen, go round the class asking individual pupils Ça-va?

Teacher Notes Task Three Press the mouse button again and part of the answer the first character gave will be obscured. Ask the pupils if they can read they know the whole sentence including the missing word. Click the mouse button for the word to appear again then repeat this for each of the characters.

Teacher Notes Task Four Continue to practise the new question and answers. The last slide has the option of removing all of the words. Ask if any of the pupils can say all of the answers from memory.
