"Utilisation des outils hydrogéochimiques, isotopiques et hydrodynamiques pour appréhender le fonctionnement des aquifères de la région de Mogher Al Mer (Bassin de Damas); Proposition d'une stratégie de meilleure gestion des eaux souterraines" N. 2 Objectives: Analysis the flow system based on hydrochemial and isotopic composition of groundwater in order to delineate the recharge and discharge mechanism. Develop of conceptual model of groundwater recharge and flow within this very complex aquiferous system and estimate the water availability. Evaluate the effects of increasing groundwater abstraction and recent climate change on the water availability. Suggest a better approach of water resources management.

19 Conclusion : In term of water flow and based on the hydrochemistry, the study area can be divided into two main parts: The western and north-western part (mainly the mountainous area), whereas the karstic feature is well developed enhancing the infiltration and dissolution mechanism. The vertical flow seem to be dominated in this part. The south and south-eastern parts characterized by a horizontal flow component associated with active interaction between groundwater and hosting rocks, noticed by water chemistry (water type). The hydrochemical characteristics did not give enough evidences to interpret the groundwater flow behaviour; Nevertheless, the application of quantitative hydrological modelling might give a better understanding of the aquifer system
