Proposals/Propositions Organisation of Union Events together with National Events Members will recall that in recent years, the level of participation in some disciplines/events has decreased, in some cases even leading to the cancellation of the Union SCIPT event. This results in disappointment for members that were willing to participate and also to the Union in general because nobody wants to see a reduced programme of events. Ceci a comme conséquence la déception des membres qui souhaitaient participer et également de l'Union en général parce que personne ne veut voir un programme réduit de manifestations.

Proposals/Propositions In this regard the Board proposes that in certain events, for example, Cross-County, Ski, Handball, the Union SCIPT event should be organised together with a national event organised by a particular member of the Union as part of their own calendar. This should ensure that there are enough numbers to make the event successful and also offer increased scope. If this proposal is accepted by the General Assembly, the Board further proposes that in the case of : À cet égard le conseil propose que certaines manifestations, par exemple, le Cross-Country, le Ski, le Handball, soient organisées avec une manifestation nationale préparée par un membre particulier de l'Union intégrant de leur propre calendrier. Events already organized by the Union: – The Board should have the proposal from the organizer of a national event at least 1 year before the event will be organized in order to also include the event in the Union SCIPT programme. 1. Événements déjà organisés par l'Union - le conseil devrait avoir la proposition de l'organisateur d'un événement national au moins 1 an avant que l'événement soit organisé afin d'inclure également l'événement dans le programme de l’Union SCIPT.

Proposals/Propositions 2. Events that are not currently organized by the Union – in this case information should reach the board 18 months before the event so that there is enough time to promote the event, even during the GA/Congress and for members to obtain feedback from employees and see if there is enough interest. 2. Les événements qui ne sont pas actuellement organisés par l'Union - dans ce cas-ci les informations devraient parvenir au conseil 18 mois avant l'événement de sorte qu'il y ait assez de temps pour promouvoir l'événement, même pendant le GA/Congrès et pour que les membres obtiennent la rétroaction des employés et savoir s'il y a assez d'intérêt.
