3 The workshop was a great success: 156 participants from 20 different countries 108 papers were presented, 30 over 6 oral sessions and 78 in 4 poster sessions The proceedings are available on a CD which has been distributed to the participants at the end of the workshop A mirror of the proceedings can be found at the workshop website: http://www.sckcen.be/sckcen_en/activities/conf/conferences/20031006/index.shtml

5 InWor ADS and P&T 2003 Conclusions: PDS-XADS: No showstopper has been identified from the design point of view – Additional R&D required before a choice between the different variants will be made There is a need for a realisation if we want to keep the interest of the European nuclear industry and interest for the topic Accelerator: R&D programme on accelerator reliability is required Nuclear data and improved physics models are needed General conclusion: more R&D on all fronts
