Examples of Successful S-S Collaboration The Government of Bangladesh sent delegations to Thailand, Rwanda, and India to study their health insurance schemes. After analyzing the different options, Bangladesh is currently initiating a health insurance pilot modeled after the Indian government-financed insurance scheme for low income households. Conditional cash transfer programs pioneered by Brazil, Mexico, and Columbia have been replicated in over 35 countries world-wide. Over 100 countries have sent delegations to the early reform countries to study their programs and learn from their experience. 15/11/2018

Examples of Successful S-S Collaboration The Health Economics and Policy Network in Africa (HEPNet), which linked academic institutions on the continent, resulted in numerous graduate students from across Africa getting trained in health economics at the University of Cape Town. The graduates from the Network continue to collaborate in academic partnerships.
