Nous avions réservé une chambre pour cinq personnes sur Internet. La chambre sur la photo sur Internet avait l’air jolie et propre, mais dans la réalité elle était horrible, j’étais dans une poubelle ! 3. It is possible that Mélanie was tricked. How did this occur? They made the booking on the internet the room in the photo seemed pretty and clean but in reality it was horrible (or similar) it was like a rubbish bin / she felt as if she was in a rubbish bin (She was tricked because) the photo was not accurate (or similar)

Section B : D’abord, la femme à la réception n’était pas du tout gentille et elle nous a dit de nous dépêcher parce qu’elle voulait prendre son déjeuner. 4. Describe their first experience at the hotel. the receptionist (lady at reception) was not at all nice/kind she told them to hurry up because she wanted to have her lunch

Puis, quand nous avons ouvert la porte de la chambre, ça sentait mauvais. La chambre était petite et les lits n’étaient pas faits. La salle de bains était sale, il y avait des insectes par terre et les murs étaient tout noirs. 5. Describe their hotel room. it smelt bad and it was small the beds were not made the bathroom was dirty there were insects on the floor the walls were completely black

Nous n’avions pas une vue sur la mer mais sur la ville. 6. What do you think they asked for when they booked and what did they get? they asked for a view of the sea and they got a view of the town/city

Nous avons demandé une autre chambre mais il n’y avait plus de chambres libres. 7. How did they try and solve the problem and describe the outcome. they asked for another room there were no more empty / free rooms

Section C : Sur Internet, nous avons vu que la chambre avait un balcon et une télé mais nous n’avions pas de balcon et la télé était en panne. 8. What did they assume they would get and why did they assume it? they assumed they would get a balcony and a TV because on the internet the room had a balcony and a TV

Au restaurant j’ai commandé un steak frites mais le garçon m’a apporté du poisson ! 10. What happened at the restaurant? Mélanie ordered steak and chips and the waiter brought her fish

Enfin, quand il fallait payer, la réceptionniste n’avait pas de monnaie et mon père a dû aller à la banque pour aller chercher des pièces. 11. How did their holiday end?
