In a few moments, we will ask questions about the mandate. Before that, we would like to talk about the spirit in which to have this conversation. The spirit of discernment. Bientôt, nous vous poserons des questions au sujet du mandat. Avant, nous aimerions parler de l’esprit nécessaire pour avoir cette conversation. L’esprit de discernement.

“Discernment is not a method or a technique, but a way of being attentive to the signs and call of God in all areas of existence, especially to inner movement that brings one to, or pulls one away from life in its fullness.” Le discernement n’est pas une méthode ou une technique, mais une manière d’être attentif aux signes et à l’appel de Dieu dans tous les domaines de l’existence, particulièrement dans le mouvement intérieur qui nous rapproche ou nous éloigne de la vie en plénitude.

Spirit of Guidance, I see before me numerous choices and a decision to be made. There is division in my heart. Sometimes I want none of what I find. Sometimes I want it all. Sometimes I want to give up making decisions and wish that the future would go away. Lead me through all the unsure, unclear, doubtful, hesitant, and questioning moments that are mine as I search to find the right way in which to go. Grant me the grace to choose freely, without being attached to the outcome. I trust that you will be with me as I make my decision prayerfully and with faith.

Esprit de direction, j’aperçois devant moi de nombreux choix à faire et des décisions à prendre. Il y a de la division dans mon coeur. Parfois, je ne veux rien de ce que je trouve. Parfois, je veux tout. Parfois, je souhaite laisser tomber la prise de décision et que le futur disparaisse de lui-même. Guide-moi à travers les moments d’insécurité, d’obscurité, de doute et d’hésitation, pendant que je cherche à trouver la meilleure façon d’avancer. Accorde moi la grâce de choisir librement, sans être attaché aux résultats. Je fais confiance que tu seras avec moi pendant que je prends ma décision dans la prière et la foi.

There are 3 priorities in our national mandate SERVANT LEADERSHIP MISSION and GROWTH OUTREACH How do we want to live them out together in our region?
