BUT… Río Daule BasinCEDEGE areaRío Guayas Basin Abundant resources : -Río Guayas Basin 13% of national territory -Río Daule Basin 5% of national territory 2000: insufficient access to services POTABLE WATER: 63% South central district (50% of users) Discontinuous supply: 10 hours / day Water losses > 80% on the network WASTEWATER: 45% Insufficient maintenance of the system I.- General background (2/2): Abundant resources BUT many challenges for water supply

ECAPAGInteragua Concession contract Protection of the users rights with key principles of objectivity, transparency, equity, efficiency.
