Les consonants français… b, c, ch, ç*, d, f, g, gn*, gu, h, j, k, l, ll*, m, n, p, q, r, rr, s, t, v, w, x, y, z
Consonants are rarely pronounced at the end of words Les, c’est, sain, ton, bas, doux, etc.
Exceptions (when to pronounce consonants) 1)c, f, l, r*… are pronounced at the end of words. Ex: soif, or, il, truc, coeur, cul, etc. 2) If the consonant is followed by an “e” Ex: Française, suisse, americaine J’habite, je m’appelle
