Assessement My goal in this lesson is to engage my students in the three modes of communications. (Foreign language Standard 1) Interpretive communication: Make sure they understand the French vocabulary with the use of visuals, pictures and gestures Interpersonal communication, have the students repeat the words to each other and to the class as a whole Presentational communication as an assignment, students will carry out a PowerPoint presentation. This presentation, will include two other standards since in their research, students will have an idea of some cultural aspects related to the countries and the communities where the target language is spoken. But most importantly, students will use search engines such as Google to enhance their knowledge of the target language. As far as the objectives are concerned, after he lesson, students will b e able to talk about global warming in French using basic words. examples: La terre/the earth, la mer/the sea/la secheresse/drought, la tempete. The storm, l’energie/energy and so on. The PowerPoint presentation will be graded as follow.
