Les fonctionnalités sont toutes ajoutées d’un coup, nécessitant de former les utilisateurs et d’assurer la promotion de la nouvelle version pour qu’elle soit adoptée. Installation par streaming Vous pouvez utiliser Office avant qu’il soit complètement installé. Cela prend quelques minutes. Les administrateurs IT peuvent contrôler ce qui est installé ou non, et peuvent adapter cela à des groups d’utilisateurs. Installation classique : il faut attendre la fin de cette dernière pour commencer à l’utiliser . Il faut aussi attendre pour ajouter des mises à jour, des services pack … Plus besoin de serveurs de gestion de licences Activation en ligne. L’utilisateur doit se connecter une fois tous les 30 jours au moins pour vérifier que sa licence est active. Pour cela, vous pouvez utiliser Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) pour un annuaire Active Directory ou une fédération SAML 2.0 comme Shibboleth pour un annuaire LDAP. De ce fait, les utilisateurs s’authentifient avec leurs accès internes. Lorsque l’utilisateur a rentré ses identifiants habituels, et qu’il se connecte à la plateforme de téléchargement d’Office 365 ProPlus, le jeton d’authentification locale ( ADFS ou Shibboleth) est accepté par le plateforme de téléchargement. L’authentification de l’utilisateur est gérée par votre CAS local Avantages : Architecture unifiée et administration centralisée. Authentification sécurisé via l’utilisation de jeton Supporte des scénarios avancés comme une architecture multi-forêts et hybride. 31 Installation par les élèves
Les étudiants peuvent installer leur propre Office 365 Pro Plus directement à partir de leur compte Office 365, en allant dans Paramètres, puis Logiciels. Ils peuvent choisir la version d'Office 365 Pro Plus (32 ou 64 bits) et la langue à installer. Il gère ses 5 installations L’élève/l’étudiant verra apparaitre une fenêtre de type « Installez Office 365 » avec une option « PC/Mac – installez Office 365 et connectez-vous » et une option « Mobile ou tablette - configurez Office 365 ». L’activation est automatique, pas de clé à distribuer aux élèves. Important: Il faut être « Administrateur local » de l’ordinateur pour installer Office 365 Pro Plus.
